i have installed a custom logo with black as the colour for the top left pixel, and it gives a black background for the refind screen as advertised ;) and as i want, however, when refind then boots an efistub linux kernel it briefly "clears" the screen with the same old default "refind grey" colour.
what this means is that, in my otherwise black background all the way to login boot, there is a disconcerting screen full of the old refind default grey between refind saying goodbye and my efistub boot saying hello...
how to get rid of this?
it only happens when booting an efistub linux kernel directly, not when chaining any other (grub2 or win7) boot loader.
anyway thanks a bunch for refind, it's great! ;)

Try uncommenting use_graphics_for or removing linux from its options.
yep i did that and it looks a bit better. of course it means i get the screen full of text where refind tells me what it's about to do, which i'd rather avoid.
That said, this is a bug, and I'll look into fixing it for
the next release.
ok, cool, thanks,
cheers,
e.

as some added info, this is happening with use_graphics_for set for linux in refind.conf
thanks,

I've released a new version 0.7.5, that should fix this bug (and a few others). If you try it and it doesn't work for you, please tell me.
