i have problem with my new Macbook Pro 13 2018 :( When i copy all necessary files in MacOS and restart Macbook, then appear just and only Recovery mode and no rEFInd manager :/ Is there any solution? On my old Mac is rEFInd manager running.
Im getting the same thing. I've disabled SIP, turned off secure boot, allowed booting of external media. I'm running a 2018 13inch macbook pro. When i install refind, it looks to have completed, no errors in the install - but i dont see refind in the startup disk in system prefs, nor does it boot by itself, nor can i see it in the startup manager if i hold option.
Tried running the install a few times, the files are on the ESP volume, but my mac seems to be ignoring them.
Not sure what else i can do.

If that doesn't help, then you'll need to report more details. The output of efibootmgr -v (typed as root or using sudo) from a Linux installation is likely to be helpful. (You can boot a Linux emergency disk, if necessary, to do this.)

This sounds like you may have neglected to disable System Integrity Protection (SIP). See the rEFInd documentation page on SIP for details.
