Hi, I own an old iMac which has a 64-bit processor but with a 32-bit EFI boot mode only.

My question is: What refind bin should I choose to download, install and use?

You'd install a 32-bit rEFInd binary. If you install from the .zip file, both 64- and 32-bit binaries are included, and the refind-install script should install the correct binary automatically. If you install manually, the installation instructions tell you how to install the correct binary.
