Background flickering

I setup Refind (on arch using package extra/refind 0.12.0-6) and using custom theme.

My theme is using PNG background resize to 1920x1080 but when I boot computer the background is flickering/flashing/refreshing a bit as you can see on following video

So I tried with and without setted resolution but no change.

Yes, even iam acing the exact same issue. screen/background is flickering. Please share if you found any work around.

The video is down, but I believe I have the same issue on Ubuntu 22.04 kernel 5.19

Whenever rEFind boots (no theme), the screen background seems to flicker/refresh 2-3 times. I looked into the log but was not able to find anything useful as to why this is happening.

Any ideas?
