So unfortunatly I thought rEFInd was the solution I had been looking for for a long time, and frankly jumped in too early without enough research, and as such I'm now looking for a way to remove/bypass rEFInd when I can't access the boot menu itself (Thanks to the Non Flashed Graphics Card).

So I have a 2010 Mac Pro, currently running all stock apple componets EXCEPT for a Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 3GB, non mac edition.

I'm also duel booting OSX and Windows 10, with each OS installed on its own 2TB SATA drive, but of course the lack of a Mac flashed card means the only way for me to switch between the two is to simply take the other drive out before booting (rather then holding alt on boot). This is what I was trying to fix using rEFInd.

I installed rEFInd by disabling System Integrity Protection and then using the refind-install script through terminal. Upon restart, I'm no longer able to enter OSX, or the OSX recovery partition by holding Cmd+R. Instead I now simply see a black endless screen upon trying to boot my OSX drive.

I assume whats happening is that its "booting" into rEFInd, but since I'm missing the mac flashed graphics card I can't actaully see/access the boot menu like im supposed to. If I can find a way back into OSx, I believe I can just set my startup disk back to Osx in the "start up disk" section of my system preferences.

I'm assuming that if I could get my hands on my original card (witch is officially from apple) then I would be able to put that in, boot my system and hopfully see rEFInd and select OSX, but I wont be able to get that card for another 2 weeks, so thought I would ask and see if anyone much smarter then me might have a solution!

Thanks in advanced for any help you guys might be able to give!

    Option A:

Press ALT when booting, boot Windoze. There install some trial of r/w HFS driver, Paragons HFS for instance.

Open the OSX volume and move/delete the rEFInd folder. Done.

    Option B:

Insert any OSX install USB or DVD (or any modern linux with HFS r/w capabilities, Ubuntu I think does), boot and press ALT when booting,

If Linux, open the OSX volume and move/delete the rEFInd folder. If OSX media, mount the OSX main volume in read/write using the Terminal (mount -uw /dev/DISKNODE eg. /dev/disk0s1). Then cd in to it and move/delete the rEFInd folder. Done.
