rEFInd on a Dell Venue 11 Pro 3140.

Touchscreen was enabled in refind.conf but does not work properly(touch does not register at the spot where I touch ..)

Any ideas on re-maping volume up, volume down, windows key, power buttons so its possible to choose without a keyboard present etc??

May I suggest adding a menu entry in refind(smaller icons row) where it would ask the user to press whatever hardware buttons their device has. All refind has to do is try to detect any keycode and if not ask the user to move to the next key.
it would save writing individual drivers for devices since the user can dynamically remap which key moves left/right and which selects etc.

On this device I have volume up , volume down , windows key(whatever uefi does with it ,it registers the key before OS bootup an induces the force feedback...) and power off.

To cover scenarios where the user might only have one working key detectable to refind circling through menu optioins with shortpress and choosing with the same key when long pressed(such as on the countless cheap 5-10 digit letter/numbers only lcd device setters).
Having a boot manager on a tablet with no touchscreen and no hardware keys to map to select os means back to Windows boot manager as lobbing around a keyboard everywhere or editing menu entries to swap OS-es each time is just not practical enough.
