How to use volume button as shortcut 'a' and 'u'?

It workon my windows pad, but my volume button work like PageUp and PageDown, usually I don't use keyboard and I just boot Android and Ubuntu. So I want to use my volume button as 'a' and 'u', which file need to be modify?
