Hello, I have been using rEFInd for quite a while for three Linux installs on my computer. It is an excellent piece of software and I am very thankful for it.
I updated the BIOS a few weeks back and that wiped out my rEFInd. I reinstalled rEFInd on Linux Mint and got POP!OS and Mint to appear in rEFInd. Drauger OS has an icon but clicking it leads to a initramfs prompt complaining that no root partition has been specified. I have been accessing Drauger through the Life Raft icon for it.
I know I did a stanza for Drauger originally, but I failed to properly document it. I found four variations in my rEFInd project folder but none work.
I also have been experiencing a weird thing where I sometimes get a different EFI directory for no reason that I can fathom. Searching my partitions I cannot find the directory. So there is a question in my mind that I have a refind.conf that has been modified and the one I am trying to modify to solve this is not the one being read by the system.
Any help, ideas or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading.

Okay. I have resolved the issue. I copied the 'refind_linux.conf', 'config', 'initrd.img', 'System.map', and 'vmlinuz' from 'efi/Drauger_OS/' to 'efi/EFI/Drauger_OS/' overwriting the ones already there. I assume the former is what has been booting under the life raft icon in rEFInd. That directory has files for the last few kernels.
The latter directory had only the 'config', 'initrd.img', 'System.map', and 'vmlinuz' files, not the 'refind_linux.conf' file. Those files were also showing as quite old. With everything in place rEFInd is working as expected.
I assume that when I update the kernel it will update in the directory that I am currently booted from.
