Hi, I recently switched from Grub to rEFInd and I am really happy with the new boot manager (particularly it's ability to use mouse input, which is a godsend for people like me using bluetooth keyboards).

One small issue I am facing is that while rEFInd's resolution is very high (1920x1080), the resolution of the terminal messages during boot of my Linux Mint is substantially lower.

I still kept Grub installed in my system, and I also have an entry for it in rEFInd. Selecting Grub through rEFInd will also result in Grub having a very low resolution, whereas before both Grub as well as any messages output in the terminal by Linux Mint before boot were also in my native resolution.

Does anyone know how to solve this?
