Hi together,

this is just a minor, but sad documentation issue.
The web page still says EasyUEFI would be free, but apparently it's not anymore. The new company behind it only offers a trial.
Adjusting your system clock between boots (e.g. by dual booting with improper configuration) even appears to invalidate the trial immediately.
Some pages still offer the last free version from before the takeover, but it's questionable how long they will remain.

It's probably best to take out this part from the web page at:
http://www.rodsbooks.com/refind/installing.html#windows
and only leave the bcdedit part. Sadly, I can't suggest any other (free) tool,
EasyUEFI has always served me well in the past :-(.
