    Hello, I am on Ubuntu 20 LTS and happily use rEFInd for a long time with no problems. However, today I resized a partition and got the following errors when I try to boot the OS:

    EFI stub: ERROR: Failed to read file
    EFI stub: ERROR: Failed to load initrd!
    EFI stub: ERROR: efi_main() failed!
    Error: Volume Corrupt returned from vmlinuz-5.15.0-79-generic

    First I did check the file systems - all good. Also System flag is set on the OS partition.

    Then, when installing Grub again, I can boot and everything works fine - same kernel, same partitions, no change. As soon as I run refind-install, I get the errors again.

    Any idea how to fix it? I really like to have rEFInd back.
    Thank you!

    After a kernel update everything works again. Self healing Linux - love it!
