Looks like this went awry somehow when the Debian packages were built (can anyone confirm this?). You've got two options then: - proceed with a manual setup as described in the handbook (it is not that hard after all) - build RefDB from the sources instead of using the package Unfortunately I can't do much about broken Debian packages.
