The document in which I observed this phenomenon is a test document in which I am exploring the different features of DocBook XML. It has been growing in size and complexity and I periodically output the document as html and pdf to assess the results. At one point I suddenly noticed the Reference List entry in the Table of Contents was displaying correctly. It has continued to do so for several iterations of the document. As I said, I have no explanation for this. Without an earlier version of the document, I have no way to reproduce the problem. I quickly created a new document and it, too, displayed the ToC correctly. For now, I must declare this problem fixed. Regards, David. P.S. The other Reference List problem (second printing of words "Reference List" under "Reference List" heading, but only in pdf output) remains. |
