Setting up the Java processors may take some extra care as the
conversion script assumes all relevant .jar's to be in a single
directory which the CLASSPATH has to point to. In addition, the Java
processors are a moving target and may depend on additional classes
not mentioned in the instructions.

I wouldn't bother fiddling with the Java processors unless you want to
use them anyway. The setup should work with xsltproc just fine.

As it works over here with my test documents, I'd ask you to zip up a
set of files to reproduce the problem (RIS data, your XML document,
and the commands you run to reproduce the problem). I'll try to see
what happens on my box.
