Yes I know. We've had this discussion at length in the bibx list. I
have to admit that support for social sciences and the humanities is
not yet a strength of RefDB. It's going to be one of the main issues
in the following releases.

This is the easy way out, but this will create an interchange issue as
it requires to extend the DocBook DTD. If there's a way without
changing the DTD I'll use that.

How do you work with this kind of references anyway? Is the page
number a part of the reference, i.e. is it in the database, or do you
add the page information specific to each citation in your document?

Not sure. Have to clean my crystal ball... Seriously, unless I miss
some nasty details it seems doable, but I can't express this in terms
of months (this depends on my workload as there's a dayjob too).
