[Refdb-users] references go in, but don't come out

I have managed to install refdb-0.8.4, and create a database, and enter 
some references.

But when I do a refdbc: getau  (or anything else), nothing comes out.

Looking in the logs, I see the line:

4:pid=22273:Thu Jul 04 02:47:17 2002:Access denied for user: ' refuser 
-w 09...@xx...' (Using password: NO)

The correct login would be re...@xx..., the "-w 0971" seems 
to be a bug, but I have no idea where it is coming from.

Where should I look to fix things?
