[Refdb-users] could not connect to database server

Hi,

Are you sure that refdbd runs? If you use the default locations for
the log and pid files and run refdbd as a user it is possible that
refdbd refuses to start as you may not have write access to these
files. In this case you should set logfile and pidfile to files in
your home directory.

If this does not solve your problem, please start all programs with
loglevel 7 and send the log output to the list, along with the output
of the script refdb-bug.
