Hi David,

glad to hear that Bib2ris works now. I'm a bit concerned about your
ongoing problems with the "cannot connect" problem. This should just
work regardless of your mental state. I haven't seen this here since a
stupid thinko was fixed about 2 versions ago. Could you do me a favour
and send the following output to the list:

1) run "refdb-bug". This will create a file "refdb-bug.txt" in your
current working directory with all the details of your installation.

2) run "ps ax | grep [r]efdbd" next time you get the "cannot connect"
message. I'd just like to be sure that you do not run an instance of
refdbd in the background that you are not aware of.
