Bib2ris is functional now Markus, once I reminded myself how to update libraries after an installation of btparse. Using bib2ris I was able to convert some existing bibtex .bib files and proceeded to learn more about using refdb. I am having some problems of the "cannot connect to server" type when running refdbib or runbib but right now I put this down to late night fatigue. Refdba is free of the "cannot connect to server" problem right now. Will report progress. regards David Markus Hoenicka wrote: > > Hi David, > > David Kilgour writes: > > > > I just noticed I do not have a bib2ris application for refdb 8.3. > > Looking at the configure log I see that I didn't have the btparse > > libraries, nor could I find any reference to them in the unstable debian > > distribution (dselect -> select \btparse ...and similar). > > btparse is not (yet) available as a Debian package.
