Our computer monitoring software allows employees, field contractors, and freelancers to manually clock in when they begin working on an assignment. The application will take screenshots randomly or at set intervals, which allows employers to observe the work process. The application only tracks activity when the employee is clocked in. We have been using refbase since spring 2009 and have four specific bibliographic databases in use. I am hoping to bring up a generic libraries bibliographic database sometime in 2013 for all of our librarians to use. Being open source is a huge plus as we are in an academic library (read "little money"). The support is awesome, the community very helpful, and it is highly customizable. Great product!
