    As a Milestone you have:

    Citation support
Increase number of available citation styles
Goal: Add most commonly used citation styles and generally increase the number of available styles.
    Priority: 6
Status: added styles: AMA, APA, Chicago, Harvard (3 variants), MLA, Vancouver
    Progress: 75%
Description: By default, refbase should include at least the most universal styles (i.e. APA, MLA, Chicago, Harvard, Turabian, CB, CGOS, CBE, AMA). Besides that, it would be nice to increase the list of available citation styles substantially.

What about to open any repository  to store  citation styles made by the community?

Just now the work will be done more than double by everybody who is able to do it, an nobody knows who has created any style.

We accept contributed styles the same way we accept any code submissions.  Feel free to use our tracker or to email any style you wish.  The real plan, though, is to push in support for CSL, which will open up the use of a vast number of styles that are already used by other popular reference managers.
