    Hi to all,
is there a possibility to sort the references as ordered in the text :

    {1} Author 1
    {3413} Author 2
    {132} Author 4
    {1} Author 1
    {45} Author3

    should extract as
    Author 1
    Author 2
    Author 4
    Author 3

    Kind Regards Knut

    Any idea for a patch?

Could you tell me the file where it is sorted?
Some Journals f.e Nature require this reference order.

    Hi Rick,
this sort order is needed for some journals like PNAS or Nature

    What about:
    Text Order in the copied text: {2635} {222} {3631} {4621} {2635}

The extractFormElementsExtract tunction will return the MySQL query  in the Text order …. RLIKE "^(2635|222|3631|4621)$"

What about to handle this order ( $recordSerialsString ) or FALSE if any other order through:
    generateExport
    generateCitations
citeRecords (rtf) as a first attempt

extract the records from the database in an array and sort the array by the recordSerialsString and afterwards build up the rtf text.

    Kind regards Knut
