    Greetings,

Fairly new to refbase and PHP.  Is it possible to change the names of fields on the displayed web pages.  I do not really want to change the actual field name in all the code and database tables -  but rather on pages like the search results.  For example where the field displayed is labeled as "Corporate Author"  I'd like to have that say "Research Center" instead - we are using the "corporate author" field to hold what research center the publication came out of.

I was looking for the string "Corporate Author" in various places, but never did find it.

    Thank you,
    bob

    HI Bob, welcome.

Is it possible to change the names of fields on the displayed web pages.

Yes, this is possible. See the files 'common_utf8.inc' and 'common.inc' in the 'en'/'de'/'fr' subdirectories of the 'locales' directory. Note that besides "Corporate Author", you may also want to look for occurrences of "corporate_author" etc.

    HTH, Matthias
