    Dear All,

I installed refbase in my shared web host but it does not allow the execution of codes of Bibutils or provide a bin directory.

May I seek your advice which shared web host allows intallation of refbase & Bibutils & provide the path for execution of Bibutils.

    Best regards,

      Hi Sam,

sorry you're facing trouble with the Bibutils installation. Personally, I've made good experiences with the Joyent shared web hosting plans.

They have a good knowledge database and an active user forum. The servers are based on FreeBSD. Though there are no Bibutils binaries for FreeBSD, it should be relatively straightforward to compile Bibutils yourself since the Joyent shared web accounts offer shell access and allow you to compile stuff yourself if you like.

The UTF8-based refbase beta database is running on such a Joyent Shared Accelerator:

Just my 2c, others may have other/better suggestions...

      HTH, Matthias
