Rethinking the concept

Not much happening lately. Archibald was allways concepted as a plain copy tool wich was enough until some long time ago. Since I didnt have use for it myselfe the last years, I never continued developing. Nowadays I think the best concept of backup in the private sector is using external hard disks. This also eases synchronisation between different Computers. Right now Im testing the Software that was included in one of those drives. Im not completely satisfied yet. So if there is no decent synchronisation Software out there, I may restart development with some changed concepts.

Code uploaded

Finally the source is up. I tried with CVS first, but then I got annoyed by the missing support for Visual Studio. Now I found out, that Sourceforge is also supporting Subversion and additionally, that there is an Open Source Plugin available. In no time the Sources had been up to the Repository. Have Fun!

Get the predecessor while im setting everything up

While this Page at Sourceforge is quite new, Archibald itself is not. The Version I will upload here is just a new implementation of an actually old Software to enable Extensions. Ok, there are more improvements, but have a look yourselfe. The old Version can be found at http://www.refs-home.net/typo3/index.php?id=8. Its only available in German (another improvement for the new Version).
