#13 windows snortcon alert

I'm using redwall for my parents home network, and was
wondering if there was a tool or some way to set up a
windows alert message appearing on their screens at the
change of snortcon from low to medium or high.
unfortunately they don't check their email often or
quickly enough for that feature to be of real use...
