I’m currently using the free PSL version of REDUCE. I’m working on quite a large problem, that theoretically should be solvable. Unfortunately I’m having specific problems in which the following error occurs:
” Binding stack overflow”
I’ve enlarged the binding stack size to its apparent maximum. using the following command
symbolic set!-bndstk!-size 99999;
Setting it larger than 99999 gives the error “Ran out of WArray space” after 50 hours of calculation
Is there a possibility to further increase the binding stack size?
Many thanks in advance,
Does this happen in your own code? If so, is it compiled? If not, there is a good chance that compilation helps. You can try by going "on comp;" before defining your procedures.
Unfortunately I'm using a compiled version of of a script called DAISY (DAISY.b) which has been seen at other places in this forum.
Thanks for your suggestion !
Please ask the authors for support. Unfortunately, they do not disclose their source code so that I cannot do anything.
I am quite sure that this problem can be resolved from a technical point of view.
