Hello everyone! I am a pre-final year undergraduate student at Delhi Technological University, New Delhi pursuing B.Tech in Computer Engineering. I have worked a lot on projects involving computer vision applications and digital image processing. I'm comfortable with working on OpenCV on both C++ and Python. I'd love to work with the Red Hen Lab as a part of GSoC.
For GSoC, I would like to cover majority of the tasks mentioned under the image and video analysis category particularly the ones on face and person recognition. It would really be helpful if you could help me get started with the projects by suggesting a starter task. It will help me get to the coding part quickly leaving good time for researching about algorithms/approaches I could use for the project and thus help in writing a stronger proposal. Also please let me know if there are any specific requirements. I sent direct mails to the mentors but haven't heard back yet.
