1) Read all documentation in the website.
2) Find out your area of interest.
3) See if there's any idea you like, or if there isn't one, come up
with proposal that is so good it makes mentors fall in love with it.
4) Contact mentors, discuss your idea, work with them until there's a
polished document that serves as a basis for the summer job.
5) Summit and hopefully you will be accepted.
What never leads to success though is expect that someone tells you
what to work on. It's totally up to you, and mentors are there to help
you succeed in what you want to do. They're not there to assign you a
job or explain you how to do things.
