#1 Permission "Execute Test Cases" broken

Setting the permission "Execute Test Cases" has no influence on the display of Test Cases.

View Test Cases toggles the Report Tab on and off.
Edit Test Cases toggles the Management Tab on and off.
Execute Test Cases does not toggle anything on or off.

I'm using
Redmine 2.0.1.stable
Redcase 1.0 alpha 1.8
Ruby 1.8.7 (i686-linux)
Rails 3.2.3
