The innariddim.com site is now fully functional and now no longer in preview mode. My personal site is now live at joshua.almirun.com (also running on redback).
... are using redback. <a href="http://arthritisaustralia.com.au/">Arthritis Australia</a>, and the <a href="http://preview.innariddim.com/">new version</a> (still in beta, with lorem-ipsum style test content) of my online music magazine Inna Riddim.
Check out the first redback-hosted site (apart from my personal website which is down at the moment anyway because I've changed the engine and haven't changed the data): http://www.itfundforkids.com.au/
We now have support for prefs that are grouped around other prefs, rather than just attached to nodes.
I have put up the skeleton of my new personal website up on http://www.mirtec.net
It is running on redback. No content yet but it provides a working example of the (extremely rough) codebase as it stands (which is, by the way, now up on CVS).
We now have the (default) option of using named nodes in URLs, rather than keys from the database. This will make for much friendlier URLs for the different bits and pieces.
You'll be able to take a look as soon as I get this @#$%$ win32 box (that I have to use for work, sadly) to use CVS properly.
I added the first rough code to CVS. It appears under the module name 'core'. (Ignore 'appcore', this was an earlier failed attempt that will be removed soon.)
Nothing in there yet but at least there's something for people to see ....
I *really* need to make sure that spider image gets replaced with something I am allowed to use :)
Content DB tables in place, and the necessary SQL to pull content where appropriate. Also an 'attributes' table to keep track of preferences. And multiple preferences handled via their linked attribute data. It's all happening! :)
It is now at a point where I'm confident that what I am trying to achieve will be comprehensible by someone else by looking at the code ... I'll commit the code tomorrow since it's ten past two in the morning :/
The redback has arrived! No code up yet but I'll fix that in the next couple of days. It's almost at the point where it's capable of handling my website. I don't intend to get it even vaguely stable before comitting code but as yet, it doesn't even have anywhere to put data. Everything else seems to be on track though. Watch this space! :)
