After working on making a sample plugin for iDempiere based on Openbravo POS, i am now trying to make an self upgradeable UI based on P2 and after that the following are the immediate roadmap:
1. Asset Maintenance plugin with user manual
2. Fixed Asset User Manual
3. HR Payroll plugin and User Manual
4. LCO feature and User Manual

Items 1 is done and item 4's basic plugin is well under way http://red1.org/adempiere/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=1729
