#37 The main interface has very bad layout management

When I increase the size of the main interface, the useful controls are pushed to the top and a lot of wasted space is left over in the majority of the lower part of the window. I'd like use the thumbnail to select a region, but since it's too small, I try to maximize the window and make the thumbnail larger and easier to use. But this is a useless effort because the thumbnail doesn't increase along with the size of the interface window.

I'll attach a picture (dual monitor setup).

Here's what the interface looks like maximized. All the bottom wasted space could instead go toward making the thumbnail portion larger.

Thanks for taking the time to report a bug! This is a low prio issue, closing as wontfix. I need to focus on other things in the foreseeable future.
