    Hi
we use fixed length utf-8 encoded files for sharing data between two software.
Record editor is a fantastic help for editing, validating these files. But is
there a way to modify the encoding ? Because lines containing multi-bytes
    characters are badly handled.

    At the moment no, but
    1) can you send me some files and the RecordLayouts (either export the
Layouts or send me the DB).
    2) Put in a feature Request see https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=1
    39274&atid=742842

I will look at adding support for multi-byte characters

Also are you using the RecordEditor for Fixed width or Delimited files with
    double byte characters
