Dear Author,
I have been a very long time user of recoll (nearly 7 years) and I was very thrilled that indexing visited webpages finally works for recoll with this extension. I used it for months now. It works excellently and it is of great help to me.
However, today, after upgrading to firefox 27. I found that I cannot save any webpages to the hard drive, either by pressing ctrl-S or by going to the menu "File Save As". When I try to save a page and nothing happened.
I disabled extensions one by one, and found out, to my utter astonishment, it is the recoll-firefox extension. Keeping all other things the same, when I disable the extension, I could save the page. And When I enable it, I cannot.
Right now, I have no choice but to disable this great extension. I'd appreciate it greatly if you could fix the problem and allow me to use this very helpful tool again! I appreciate your great works so far!
My configuration: Ubuntu 10.04 Firefox 27.0 Recoll-Firefox-Extension (called recoll Indexer in my extension menu) 1.2.2. An unrelated thing, for some reason when I try to update the extension within firefox, no update was found. I had to manually update it.
Please do let me know if there is anything more I could do to help you debugging this strange problem.
I have fixed the problem. Please download and install version 1.2.3. FireFox 27 introduces the FileUtils.jsm which conflicts with the jslib fileUtils.js module used in this extension. I have adjusted the fileUtils.js module name to avoid this conflict.

Thanks a lot David. I downgraded firefox to 24esr to avoid some unrelated bugs, so I could not properly test your solution. Firefox 28 seems to have resolved my unrelated bugs, so I upgraded both firefox and your extension.
I can confirm that it now works perfectly! Thanks a lot for fixing this and sorry for testing so late! Recoll and your extension combined helps me out greatly.
