ReBaTe - Requirement Based Testing Tool
The current version of the tool has been developed using Microsoft Access. A demo is available for download, however the tool is currently being ported from the original Java implementation to Microsoft Access. Not all features are currently available and bugs may exist.
The purpose of this project is to allow software developers to gain access to an open source software testing tool. A strong understanding of databases is needed, the tool as presented allows the freedom to add and remove tables as the organization deems fit. The tool utilizes the following 4 factors to prioritize test cases: Requirements Volatility (RV), Customer Priority (CP), Fault Proneness (FP) and Implementation Complexity (IC). The tool as developed only provides the Mean Factor Weighting scheme.
