    Hello, all.

I've created a variant of my own, and while selecting it from the dropdown list in RP, I got the above error message.

I've checked all of the line 38s in my variant files, and everything seems to check out.  Of course, this is my first time doing a variant, so it is quite possible that I'm missing something.

I googled "Invalid supply list at," but the only hit was for a German RP site, that I cannot read.

Can anyone help me out here?

      Hi

The error will be somewhere in either the .gam file or a corresponding entry in the .map file I think

      Examples might be

      Misspelt abbreviation
Non existant abbreviation (I think that is what the German site refers to)
The centre is not set as a supply centre in the map file

Probably other reasons too - maybe an army set on a sea space

Let us know if that helps

      Steve

None of your suggestions worked, Steve.

In any case, here's a link to a site to download my variant files in a WinRAR format.

      Thanks for y'all's help.

Timothy - Oh yes they did :-P

You have the Home builds in the gam file for I as

      Mil Grb Chi
      A Mil A Grb A Chi

But in the Map file you have Milwaukee as miw

I couldn't get the variant to not crash my version of Realpolitik though so you might have other errors.

I did note in the var file that Abberation should be Aberration but that didn't fix it.

Also, if you eventually intend to get your variant put on the judges then you'll need to change the code letters M and O as they are reserved for Master and Observer

Let us know if the Milwaukee change solves your problem

      Steve

Aha!  Thanks for the help, Steve.  The variant works now.  (The Milwaukee thing was screwey.  But so was one small "-1" I forgot to finish a file with.)

Now all I have to do is test every possible move to see if my adjacencies are correct.  Ugh.
