DeLorme (tm) ".gpl" File Tools / News: Recent posts

I have just uploaded two screen shots from the work on ReadGPL-GUI. One is of the About Dialog. The other is of the "Tracklog View." It shows a loaded file with some of the filters applied to it.

The "DeLorme File Formats" web page that was previously at http://www.frontiernet.net/~werner/gps has been moved to be hosted on SourceForge.net along with the readgpl package. The new wepage is http://readgpl.sf.net.

The old website is currently still live, but will shortly start redirecting to the new location.

Work has started on developing a GUI interface for the ReadGPL package of tools. The GUI is being developed in GTK2.0 (actually, gtkmm & libglademm).

The "readgpl-gui" is currently in a very early alpha stage. It has two different interfaces, the original and the spreadsheet style. The original interface basically wraps the original "readgpl" programs in a GUI. The spreadsheet version lets the user apply filters and transforms and see the data on the screen.
