Now it seems like some key combinations and single key shortcuts are not recognized for "General hotkeys":
Ctrl + §
Ctrl + 1
(I only tested assigning hotkey for pausing)
I've got no idea what keys are overridden by Windows system and so on.
Some hotkey combinations will trigger Windows 8.1 UI sidebar instead of triggering Read4me speaking.
If nothing can be done on that department at least it would be good to see if key combination actually works or not.
Have a check mark or some indicator which shows if hotkey combination is valid on each item line.
Then user wouldn't have to resort to manual testing to see if hotkey works or not.

Yesterday it stopped working and all the voices are gone all the fields where you choose your voice went blank or said detect language. I've went into Microsoft settings and I can test the voices in settings and other software still have access to it?

Hi!
Noticed a bug related to shortcuts;
Read4Me crashes on unhandled exception.
Looks like XML in ini file hiccups when it gets this character as shortcut.
Read4me won't restart after this.
Solution: modify ini file or delete it.
