[ros-kernel] Legal...

    When ROS finally is compatible with most win32 apps, will you guys =
be ready to defend yourselves against microsoft in case they decide to =
try to take you to court for some odd reason?  Wine is different from =
ROS in that it just runs apps on linux, ROS will be an NT clone which =
will probably kick microsoft right where it hurts (in the pockets.)  It =
will be nice to see alot of people switch to reactos in a couple years.  =
There wouldn't really be any reason NOT to switch.

Please don't use html in your email, and never make assumptions about 
people's color schemes.  At first your message looked blank to me because I 
use white text on a black background, and you had forced the text color to 
black.  As for your question, no, we are not.  We should seriously think 
about transferring ownership of the project to the FSF as they have the 
resources to put up a legal defence.

At the moment there is no legal foundation to represent the
developers. That means that MS would go after individual developers
(not a good thing). We should look at forming such an entity for
protection. Still, I doubt MS will start caring until we start making
a dent in their market share... which is some way away.

Dangerous. Microsoft has enough money too keep another company
busy in court for years.
I'd suggest giving copyright away to FSF while there still are
not to many developers. If FSF falls, nothing else will stand.
