Thanks Eric,

Am I correct in thinking this binutils release is about one week old? If so
did I miss an announcement?, is this our now our standard version which
I can assume others are also using? Perhaps there is another list I should
be on in order to stay aware of changes like this?

I'm now a bit nervous that I've missed something and may be using obsolete
build tools. I was swapping between gcc version 2.95.3-6 (mingw special)
and gcc version 3.1 a couple of weeks ago so may have munched something
in the process.

Also I took a snapshot of the latest stable bochs source some months ago and
currently work with a private build which is working nicely providing network
support running on W2K. This version is labeled bochs-20020430.
