Greetings. My name is Lucas. I am very interested in joining the ReactOS Server project and helping with it's development. What is the process to get accepted as a developer? Hi Lucas, as you could see the project is really dead. We have had some discussions about reactos-server but we really dont have many time to work in the project. Anyway if you are interested i have no problem to keep in touch and try to start the development again. Regards, Seba. On Sat, Nov 15, 2008 at 1:43 AM, Lucas M. We have discussed that reactos needs many improvements in the tcp/ip stack, it also needs to test ndis to make all windows network drivers based on it to work on reactos. After that the work would lead to implement a wifi stack with wep and wpa and its configurations (maybe graphical) tools. Then we should start porting apache2 and one ftp server to reactos. This step might not be as difficult but this will surely lead to discover many bugs in reactos. If you want to do the kickstart, you should make a fist svn commit with reactos source to reactos-server repository as we can download and start modifyng. I will now add you as developer. You are now a developer of reactos-server, the svn is at https://reactos-server.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/reactos-server You need to do the first commit there in order to start the repository. There in sourceforge is also a lot of information about how to manage subversion. We need to meet in chat in order to make a new plan for the project, maybe at an irc channel. Regards, Seba.
