    HI,
I have compiled Reactivision on a RASPI 4 32Bit System.
The maximum resolution I can get is 1944x928 at 30-31 FPS.

Every higher Resolution hangs the system. Do I have to compile it on a 64Bit System to enhance the resolution or are there other tricks to be done?
By the way: The HQ cam is a rolling shutter cam and is not really good for this application.

    Thanks for your help

    Frank

    hello Frank,
in 2017 i experimented with reacTIVision a lot - and my feeling was that the sw is not as easy with high resolutions - it was designed way back when there was no such high-resolution cams available..
i don't excactly remember - but you coud try and dig in the code of the multicam experiment - as this needs high pixel-counts.... :
    https://github.com/mkalten/reacTIVision/pull/30

in my experiments i used a logitech C920 FullHD and /or https://www.kurokesu.com/shop/CAMUSB1 (also FullHD) - and my feeling was that the recognition & tracking worked better with lower resolution.. don't ask me why - i have not dig into the algorithms in any way ;-)

hope that helps in some way ;-)

    sunny greetings
    stefan
