Bordille! (curse from the south of France)
With MacOs Big Sur, the displayed camera image is not correct, as in the picture. On the right, the normal image given by Photo Booth and on the left, the image (the same camera and the same hand at the same place) by Reactivision: it is off-center and magnified.
Is there a setting in Reactivision or something to do to correct this?
Hello Rene, I was planning to buy a new Macbook pro. Did you manage to run reactivision on a Macbook with M1 processor? If so, which camera are you using? Thanks! regards

Hello Isacco,
No, my processor is Intel Core I9 (2.3GHz). I don't have the M1 chip. I failed to get Reactivision to work properly. If you have a solution, I'm interested.
With my Mac I use the Chinese LarmTek Full HD Camera which works great with Big Sur (purchased from Amazon).
Regards.

Hi Rene, thanks for your feedback. No solution unfortunatelly. At the moment I don't have a Macook with Big Sur. I'm still working on an old Macbook with OS 10.8. I never replaced it because of compatibility issues but now it's very old and I need to find a solution. The only thing that I can suggest is to try running Reactavision with a different camera and check if this issue persists... if not the problem is maybe related to that specific camera. But I guess you already tried something similar...

Hi Rene, just wanted to let you know that I finally got a new Macbook and now I'm experiencing the same issue 😳. I was wondering if you ever managed to fix it.
I tried modifying options on the camera.xml file but nothing seems to change. It looks like the application doesn't get info from the camera.xml file. Do you have the same impression?

I discovered that if you put it full screen, you can have the full view. Afterwards, if you disable the full screen it remains full. The fullscreen option can be triggered wth the F1 key, so the trick is pressing F1 twice when opening reactivision.
