The RDFX project has now completed it's move from the Distributed Systems Group's CVS repository and is fully hosted on Sourceforge.
This should provide both end users and developers with regular access to the latest versions, and reflects a shift from core development towards integration of tightly and loosely coupled utilities which extend the framework.
Prior to any official releases, early access to the code and the API's can now be achived through anonymous CVS login, described here:... read more
Giovanni and Onofrio are hoping to use the RDFX UI capabilities to provide additional browsing to their dbin semantic web project. Welcome both.
The code refactoring which preceeded yesterday's checking had broken several things, including the integration between views, and the images in the UI.
Those breakages have been repaired today so the system is now in a condition where an an end user can run it, and therefore merge and explore multiple RDF files.
A first drop of code has been checked in tonight. The application itself is not fully working at this point because the code has been significantly refactored prior to upload (to ensure minimal changes later) so anyone downloading from CVS over the next few days please bear with us. If you see a problem, please raise a bug!
Hosting of the development tools for the RDFX project is to be moved to sourceforge in a move which will enable more direct access and involvement for more people. RDFX began as part opf a PhD research project and has grown to th epoint where it is now the basis of a framework for various experimetns which rely on the combination of various semantics-oriented concepts.
