[Rdfapi-php-interest] Named graphs

Is there any plans for implementing named graphs in RAP?
Would there be interest for this? (if I suddenly found myself with 
infinite time :)

Referring to Gunnar's email, yes I would be interested.
This would allow for easier building of decision making/optimization 
algorithms. Any other justifications?

Has anyone looked at the features available in the PEAR graph package? 
It has a topological sort - and weights, but I don't think it's edges 
are named/weighted either. I gues then it would be technically called a 
"network".

Hi Gunnar,

no concrete plans yet, but having them would definitively be cool and
useful.

I gave a talk at the W3C Technical plenary about Named Graphs and SPARQL
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-archive/2005Feb/att-0049/NamedGraphs
today and there seams to be general agreement that named graphs are the
direction into which things are developing.

It would be cool to have some Named Graph API and repository already in RAP
now and we could use it later when DAWG is done as basis for our SPARQL
implementation.

What do you think?
