I'm seeing exactly the same problem. Using -4 isn't really that useful as the whole point of rdesktop 1.3 is the ability to connect with RDP5 I've set the terminal services to use medium encryption as suggested in various places on the web. I've tried it set to low encryption too but it still didn't work. The server itself reports that there's a "DATA ENCRYPTION" error causing the disconnect. I searched for this error and found an MS bug which recommended editing the registry to delete a certificate which is renewed at start up. This didn't help either. Unfortunately, neither made any difference. I'm following up with the NT admins that own the two servers I'm trying to connect to, regarding licensing issues. Thanks for the input! v/r Shane |
