Hey list I've been having trouble getting rdesktop to print locally using the HPLIP (http://hplip.sourceforge.net) system, which in turn uses CUPS for queue management. The problem is that rdesktop tries to use "lpr", while HPLIP (and CUPS) uses "lp" for printing. When trying to print, rdesktop blows up with the following error: "sh: lpr: command not found" Has anyone succeeded in using lp to print from rdesktop, instead of lpr? The machine is running Debian with the packages "hplip", "cupsys" and "cupsys-client" installed. rdesktop is compiled from 1.5.0 source with the xcreateimage patch applied.
