I've ported rdesktop to arm-linux for a gumstix (PXA255) platform but can't figure out how to get the keyboard and mouse working.
The gumstix itself has no keyboard or mouse, but does have and LCD display. My goal is to have the LCD display mirror that of an XP laptop but have the laptop's mouse and keyboard control remain on the server (XP laptop).
Ultimately, I may add a touchscreen interface to the gumstix, but now I'm using putty to get a console to the gumstix from my XP laptop.
The gumstix has TinyX and I've ported a tightvnc client. Everything works ok--I can see the XP desktop and I use the laptop mouse and keyboard to control my XP application. I was hoping I could get rdesktop to work the same way, except (much?) faster.
I can run rdesktop on the gumstix and connect to the XP server with no error. I get a nice login screen with a menu to type a user name and password (on the gumstix's LCD). But how to I get the laptop's mouse and keyboard to work?
This is either a problem with the port I did, or a stupid user problem, but I'm not sure which. Thanks for any help.
