I was using rdesktop that came with Redhat 8.0. When the admin at work
put the latest patches (SP3?) on the Win2k terminal server, I was no
longer able to get in. IIRC, I tried version 1.2 also with no luck.
Today, on a whim, I checked it out and built it from CVS. I think. Can
someone look at this and see if I've done it right?
$ cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@...:/cvsroot/rdesktop login
$ cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@...:/cvsroot/rdesktop co
$ su root
# make install
And now it works. But, it appears that I've got version 1.1:
[wendy@... rdesktop]$ rdesktop
rdesktop: A Remote Desktop Protocol client.
Version 1.1.0. Copyright (C) 1999-2001 Matt Chapman.
See http://www.rdesktop.org/ for more information.
Thanks for any advice on this. I'm glad it works, but I'd like to
